Yeah i heard it. I'm loving how the online looks for this, the single player looks good as well but they should add just a bit more color to the game. I think Killzone is silencing the critics though because it's looking really good and isn't just pre recorded videos being played.
Looks amazing from the sniper to the engineer building sentries. I also noticed someone planted C4 in dead bodies by a doorway waited for someone to come by and BOOM dead. Pretty freaking awesome if you ask me. Plus they have another 6 months to tinker with the graphics and gameplay and make it just perfect. Besides bugs i don't think we have much to worry about with Killzone.
Which 7 proven titles did they show? I can count Res5, Fallout 3, Lips, Fable and Gears 2. 2 out of 5 is multiplatform. Yeah they announced FF13 for the 360 at the same time as the Ps3 version but that hardly warrants them a near perfect score. I'd give it about 8.5 for the entire conference.
They probably want to announce it when it's sooner to being complete.
But got damn the trophies won't be retroactive for uncharted. I was hoping that they would be since i've already collected about 54 hidden treasures and did almost all of the weapon challenges. There's alot to be done in Uncharted that's for sure.
Good to see Funimation supporting PSN this early for the video store. I hope they bring more stuff to it and other companies bring some more anime. I like that some things are for rent and clearly says rental and others are permanent because i detest rentals.
I don't mind them jacking TF2 (my favorite online game) and taking some elements from CoD4. All they have to do is refine it to a nice sheen and that's a killer winning online multiplayer formula.
Sounds freaking amazing. The online sounds like TF2 meets CoD4 perks which in my opinion is a great combination. Also 32 players online for this type of game is crazy. I was expecting 16 tops. But this is pretty amazing i hope i get to wear a helgast costume.
You get confused by it, like using the momentum jump in Portal it was weird at first but the more you use it the more you get used to it. At first the motion blur threw me off in the vid but after the 2nd view i got used to it.
The guy has always been nice and i respect him. To continue updating Warhawk so much after it's been out for nearly a year and add free stuff and add-ons is pretty amazing. I should play Warhawk one of these days, it's actually the first online game i was ever addicted to.
This is high on my most anticipated list and that footage was just incredible. I like the minimalist combat and the environments looks awesome. I loved Portal and i liked Assassins Creed and this game looks like a good mix of both of their strong points.
But the gameplay STILL looks awesome. Can't wait to see this and more gameplay for Infamous.
Just been hit in the head with a cinder block. To be completely honest there's only a few variables that separate the 360 from the Ps3 specially now since 3rd party exclusives are going out the door. Most games are multiplatform now so the difference in online capabilities, price and extra features are whats really gonna determine things.
Put it like this. If the Ps3 and 360 was the same price and had the same games which one would you buy?
So i missed most of the conference (made it for that one chick singing and FF announcement). I'm surprised there was no Alan Wake i really wanted to see new info on that game.
Good business. Not desperate money. They are doing what they can to bring in those 100+ million Ps2 owners. I'm a Ps3 only owner myself and i have to applaud MS for doing this, if i was a fan of JRPG's i'd be royally pissed.
MS just dropped it's gauntlets and brought out the big guns. This war has console war has just got about 100 percent more interesting. What i love is that it's only the first day and this is a HUGE blow to sony.
.....I don't even want to speculate how the internet will react. It would be madness with the Ps3 at the same price point as the 360.
I'm just on here before i go to sleep for work in the morning. Unfortunately i won't be able to see MS's press conference or Sony's any of the others but i'm hoping something gets leaked.
What he's referring to KingofMA is that Sony just had a update that shows people it is always getting better with each update. I think he's saying that he want MS to show the same thing with the new dashboard update and unveil a new feature or two.
I don't quite agree with you there. The Price for both consoles will be the same since a 60 gig 360 with 1 year live will be $400 compared to a 80 gig Ps3 for $400 so they cancel each other out. As for having better games that's all a matter of personal preference to tell the truth specially since a good 90 percent of games now a days are multiplatform. Online features 360 gets the nod.
